At Thilanka Hotel Kandy, we like to keep things simple. So the Thilanka Restaurant has just a stone floor and cane furniture. There is nothing very fancy about the restaurant itself because, honestly, it's all about food. Our menus include continental an American breakfasts and a rich international spread at lunch and dinner, be it buffet or ala carte. And we are always well stocked on fresh greens, so being vegetarian is finally not a problem!

Stayed triple room for full board no the middle of December 2021, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and they very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and had very delicious buffet for dinner, Breakfast & lunch.

I wished we could have stayed longer at this hotel. Our room was furnished to a high standard including the bathroom. Enjoyed sitting on the spacious balcony with amazing views of Kandy. The restaurant served a tasty buffet. A lovely terrace with comfortable seating and lit up at night. Excellent staff and who treated us like royalty. Very good shop in the foyer with reasonable prices.

Wow! The new pool overlooking Kandy has the best view ever! We had a corner room with a view of the pool - the room was huge! We have been touring in Sri Lanka and this hotel is our best so far. The manager & staff excellent. The dinner was fantastic- with such great entertainment / the 3 guys that went around the tables singing absolutely brilliant! 10/10. We would not hesitate in stopping at this lovely hotel / the best so far on our Sri Lankan trip. Well done and thank you.

From the entrance one will be memorized with Murals that embark Kandyan culture. The wow factor is the view specially at night you can see the whole ancient kingdom. Not difficult to imagine the pride it hold centuries ago. The restaurant is close to the pool.
